The projects we undertake at SCRC encapsulate our vision of the value that community participatory processes can bring to under-served communities in the South, throughout the country and abroad.
A sampling of our current and past projects highlight the five main areas that concern us: health disparities, ethics, environmental justice, citizen participation, and public policy.
Our collaborations and grants have come from wide variety of institutions, groups and foundations, such as: the Kellogg Foundation, the Ford Foundation, the CDC, the EPA, National Institutes of Health, the Healthcare Georgia Foundation, Morehouse College, Tuskegee University, The University of North Carolina, the State of Texas, the Texas Office of Public Health, MD Anderson, the Government of South Africa, and the Center for Bioethics in Research and Health Care.
